During the many years we homeschooled our children, we planned and went on many educational trips. We have visited the fort in St. Augustine, Florida, the battlefields of Gettysburg, the national monuments in DC, as well as the Capitol building, the White House, and Arlington Cemetery. We have been to Pearl Harbor, the Liberty Bell, and the Statue of Liberty. In 2015, we started cruising. We have explored the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico, snorkeled in Belize, shopped in Jamaica, enjoyed the beach at Grand Turk, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas. We have seen Chichen Itza in Yucatán and swam with dolphins in Cozumel. We have explored the city walls in Montenegro and Croatia and walked the streets of the Greek Isles. We have multiple trips to Hawaii including Maui, Oahu, Hawaii, and Kauai. We have done the Road to Hana, tubed in old sugar cane canals, kayaked Wailua River, and hiked the Volcanoes National Park. I look forward to exploring as much of this glorious Earth as I can and I hope to help you do the same!
