Beautiful river cruise on the Douro. ALL the Viking staff from our cruise leader to the Captain and crew were top notch, the chef amazing, service great, entertainment perfect for venue and good choice of entertainer. Time and money well spent.

I have been on a river cruise before and loved it. This one did not meet my expectations. The food was not as good as I expected. We didn't get to go very far on the waterway, which I know could not be helped. Our cabin was beautiful but uncomfortable due to the air condition not working. I know a lot of the guest on the boat were very unhappy.

Loved the trip in general. Beautiful landscapes! Two things to note... 1) not much time devoted to just river cruising on this one. The ship mostly moves during the day while passengers are on tour, 2) the Lisbon tours were a lot of driving around and talking about history. The post trip to Santiago and the day trip to Salamanca are outstanding!!!
