This was a great cruise with Lucerne extension. The Viking staff on the ship and off were helpful, knowledgeable and caring. The Viking rep in Lucerne was particularly helpful to us and very knowledgeable about the history of Lucerne and also about practical things such as he helping us find a drug store and grocery store. The hotel in Lucerne is superb. It’s absolutely a five star hotel. The only negative comment I have is the number of people on the ship. It was filled to capacity ( 190 passengers). Viking should consider reducing that number.

Excellent service, great food, wonderful staff, comfortable accommodations and interesting included excursion. Silver spirits package was great. Additional Marksburg castle tour was interesting however German dinner was not as I expected. Minimal German ambiance and entertainment.

First class in many categories. Great and caring staff. Excellent itineraries and off the boat trips.

Amazing service on Viking River Cruise. Most appreciated airport and departure services. Very good food, service & included tours. Did not enjoy being below deck (ground floor) and little windows, and will make an effort not to book that again.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, except for one of the optional tours “Taste of Alsace”, did not meet my expectations. Part of the tour was misrepresented. Thought the tour was pricey.

This trip was wonderful! Viking takes great care of their travelers. Every request is anticipated and covered. The trips each day into the cities, etc. were well coordinated. Any kind of special need was handled. They did a great job!!!

The crew on the Eir were fantastic. Friendly, and would do anything to make you comfortable and happy. The ship and amenities were everything that you could want.
