The waiters remember our name, number and drink orders. The sommelier at the Chief’s Table was outstanding. The ship was clean, safe and sterilized. First trip on Viking - booked 3 other trips while on board. Room 8015

Our trip to the Caribbean to a warmer climate with beautiful clear green water in the Caribbean was amazing. The citizens of each island were welcoming and caring. They encourage hand sanitation on each excursion and wore masks. The employees on our Viking ship treated us royally. There were 3x workers compared to passengers. Shows and on board entertainment was great. Food and drinks were exceptional. We loved attending the martini and whiskey tastings. Our favorite restaurant was The Chefs Table. This restaurant paired wines with a 4 course set menu.the sommelier explained the wines and

The ship was about 2/3 full. COVID protocol was applied in full force. Guests have to wear mask everywhere except for actively eating, drinking, in the pool, or in your own room. In the theater, guest could ship a drink and put the mask back on. The service was wonderful as usual. The crew was very attentive even though they were short in staffing due to Visa issue for crew to the US port. I met former crew whom I knew during the Viking World cruise in 2020 that had to cut short due to COVID. Some of them still remembered my first name. I feel like Viking's staff is a part of my traveling

Itinerary was great, food and accommodations was wonderful. Loved this cruise and would recommend it.

Excursions needs some study. Multiple buses from viking arriving at the same venue caused big lines.

The ship is altogether beautiful and the food is comparable to Oceania. However, the stateroom does not appeal to me as much because the balcony access is through a narrow glass door and the view is obstructed because of the combination of a solid wall and a floor-to-ceiling glass window. I prefer the sliding glass door/window. In addition, the bathroom didn’t have a vanity mirror with magnification. I expected one in a penthouse stateroom.

Cruise was OK. Regent spoiled us. Viking food in regular restaurants was not as good. Also service in buffet restaurant was terrible. Staff was disorganized. sometimes no water or drinks even though multiple requests. ship was lovely and had great facilities. Specialty restaurants were wonderful and we finally found a table at the regular restaurant with great waiter and service. Regent did a much better job with port information and had better guides and educators.

We chose Viking Ocean cruise line for the first time because I wanted to try an all inclusive ocean cruise. Viking Seas ship was beautiful, staff amazing but shore excursions were not organized, buffet didn't provide a lot of selections and same every day, nightly entertainment good but no variety. Oceania is our cruise line of choice!!!

The Viking Sea was elegant and relaxing. The support staff was excellent. There seemed to be some tension in the buffet kitchen but all-in-all it was a wonderful cruise.
