One of our favorite things about the Majestic, vs other Royal Class Princess ships, is that the forward pool is enclosed. "Very user friendly on colder sea days". Everything about the ship was a 9 or 10. We've sailed on Princess a number of times in the past, including on the Majestic. We left Princess for 2 cruises because everything had become "lack luster" . NCL was worse so we decided to give Princess one more try and we're glad we did. It was super good service. My partner and I had never been on a cruise before, so we booked a quick 2 night cruise close to home to see what it is all about. We enjoyed it. Lots of food. Lots of conversations with new people. Great entertainment. Definitely could have done without the sales pitches at activities. I attended what I thought were fun events, but turned out to be another sales opportunity for Princess to sell items. Now I know to stay away from events like that. We're looking at booking another cruise, as it definitely is a great way to travel without needing to carry your bags from place to place. Wheelcha

Some were lacking in enjoyment

Didn't like having to share a rod with my wife on the fins & grins fishing excursion ,when we both paid to fish . Other than that the trip was fantastic. Very satisfied with ship staff , food , Alaska was beautiful.

The Majestic is an excellent ship. The food was superb, the attention to the travelers was outstanding. I recommend this cruise and thank you very much to Richard Tennant for organizing it. He really very helpfull.

Took my whole family, 11of us from New Jersey. Left the afternoon before the next days cruise. Flight was cancelled on the way to Newark Liberty. We scrambled to get another flight. That one had a layover in Minneapolis. Long story short, we were up for a total of 36 hours and made it to Majestic Princess with only one hour to spare before the gangway was to be lifted. Twice as grateful to have made it. The trip was a unique one to put in the family memory book. We all loved the ship and the ports of call and went on many of the wonderful excursions. We had never been on a cruise before, but this was wonderful. We got to see places we'd never been before and the beauty of Alaska is truly amazing and hard to explain. Now I'm entering any cruise sweepstakes I see in hopes to go again. I'd recommend to anyone. The service on Princess was incredile!!

The trip was Great with lots to see and enjoy. The staff onboard was not as engaging as other cruise lines we have been on in the past. Overall service was Very Good, restaurant options were limited and there were few snack options on the plus package. In All very nice trip, good excursions and clean staterooms.

Got wrong food. Buffet food was not hot. Not much for entertainment.

Princess Majestic is a lovely vessel with superb staff! Recommendation for the land/cruise combination is to do the cruise first due to constant moving from hotel to hotel. ALSO if you book be sure that the Fairbanks hotel is the new Princess hotel which is better situated than the Pike Hotel. Otherwise all other lodging was excellent with a variety of excursions and shops.

ithere is As a resident in Alaska there is always something new to see in this Great State and This being my first cruise ever I have to say The Princess 7 night inside cruise certainly showed me places that I’ve never seen before. Just a few highlights were the fantastic tour onboard the ship in Glacier Bay and the Captain kept the Ship moving and turning for some of the best photo opportunities one could ask for, I enjoyed the White Pass Railroad Excursion in Skagway with more Photo Opportunities and Alaska History information. It was a great cruise itinerary wise; Princess fell short of my expectations.

Stunning ship with a friendly crew members, plentiful of activities available to never get bored, great food and service, nice staterooms and lovely restaurants, shops and SPA.

The food in the dining rooms was not very good, it was much better on the Emerald. The nightly entertainment was also a disappointment. Sorry, I usually don't have anything bad to say, but this time I felt I had to say something.

I loved everything except the Customer Service on board the ship. They really were useless when it came to a charge that I still don't know what it is for.
