Ship ambiance, entertainment and food was subpar to say the least. Not the Oceania of years past.

Loved Cartegena, the starting port. As touted, the food aboard Nautical was fabulous, as was all the service staff. Disappointed, however, in the actual ports and especially the cancellation of our St Barts port stop. Felt off ship tours and onboard spa services were overpriced and lackluster.

My first cruise since 1993. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would as a "solo" traveler. Friendly fellow travelers and same with all levels of staff. Excellent food and plenty choices. Land expeditions were good as were on-board activities. /dbk

Bad weather for 8 out of 11 days and 3 out of 4 excursions canceled unfortunately. Night cruising meant we really didn't see much until we motored into Boston. Our last excursion ended up being 3.5 hours in traffic jams in dusk and dark conditions. Guide was excellent but circumstances limited enjoyment. On bright side service was overall good. Room was clean and quiet and food was abundant and good to outstanding. Cold weather meant no swimming or use of deck 11 with all the outdoor activities. Meals at Toscana and Polo Grill were highlights. Demographic was clearly over 65 crowd. The Nauti

Our schedule was busier than anticipated with no "days at sea" and trying to keep up with all of the day tours. The tours seemed not to have been well-vetted and while "okay" most needed improvements by the tour operators. The service by the cabin stewards, and the restaurant staff was generally very good. There were several issues on board that I tried to bring to the crew's attention on our mid-trip survey, but they were dismissive and snide about my comments. I can't imagine cruising on Oceania again.

The trip pretty much met all of our expectations for the cabin, entertainment, and excursions. The food was good but not as good as on our previous Oceana cruise on the Sirena. They had trouble with my wife's request for no-salt meals, usually just skipping a sauce but not preparing the meat without salt. The Tuscan Grill was disappointing.

The ship Nautica is absolutely lovely. It’s so elegant in furnishings and decor. It’s a well taken care of ship. We have been on many cruises during the past 30 years. My husband has neuropathy which has gotten worse as he’s grown older. We had some rough seas with the ship rocking and rolling. We came to the realization that cruising may not be in our future during our retirement. He had a difficult time managing the rocking and rolling. Food was good but we felt dinner options were limited to a few choices. Breakfast was excellent. We loved Baristas coffee bar. Our cabin was lovely bu

Never again would I book Cabin#4001.....lots of noise. Right up against several crew entries to equipment. The sound of the chains when dropping anchors in the morning were very disturbing. Crew staff very good....food good. Would prefer more activities available on sea days.

“Right size ship for Tahiti”
2 Stars
Cruise Date: 02/09/2024
Destination: Exotics
The nautica would be the largest ship I would recommend for Tahiti island hopping. Since 4 of the 6 islands were tendered, larger ships would have trouble avoiding lines, plus a lack of tours, resources would also be an issue. Though the Nautica is an older ship, the inside is in great condtion, fairly updated. Food was good, desserts were fantastic. Main issue is that the internet service has not yet been upgraded and wine/drink service was slow like I have seen on other cruise lines.

Our dream vacation to Tahiti began with our Travel Agent, Lourdes Gray. Lourdes helped with every aspect of our trip planning and was very attentive. Our 10 day family vacation cruise in Tahiti onboard Oceana Nautica was a five star experience. The restaurant staff (and food) was excellent as were the hospitality staff. Excursions were, for the most part, good. We traveled in January, which is the rainy season in Tahiti and we lucked out as the rain didn't significantly impact any of our plans. Would highly recommend!

The cruise was perfect. The ship was the perfect size. The staff were all so attentive and friendly. We wanted for nothing. Our cabin steward, Robby, was a gem!!! Loved the happy hour in Martinis and Wayan served us great drinks daily. The food was good and varied, breakfast was our favorite. The ports of call were nice with a variety of excursions offered. Sometimes we just stayed on board to enjoy the ship though. All in all, we loved it and would sail Oceania again. Janice Hamm

When one’s only complaint about a cruise, is that one of the 33 tour guides one head was unsatisfactory, it says a great deal about how wonderful the trip really was. The ship was beautiful and in great shape, the food was delicious with a great variety, the sites were exciting and historic, and the crew could not have been better. This was a fabulous trip and Oceania did a great job at every level. This was our families fourth or fifth cruise on Oceania and we have never been disappointed.

As always the ship in a very well conditions, all the staff very friendly and helpful. As a suggestion: in an itinerary of 20 days for the specialty restaurants would be nice to alternate menus at least once a week to make them more atractive.

This cruise did not meet my expectations, there were 2 sites with canceled visits due to "choppy " weather. On going work all day long 2 cabins away for several days (lots of noise) I was never advised I needed a visa to enter to nTaiwan (but did for Cambodia and Vietnam), and 5 days before arrival I was informed needed to disembark in Manila, and not refunded for days (4), not used in the cruise.
