I thought I would love going to Japan but it was a disappointment for me. All I saw on the side trips are temples and shrines. Anymore temples to see? I did enjoy Korea though although a temple was also on the trip. I enjoyed the shopping and street food scenes the most and of course all the modern hot seats on most of their bathrooms. The Norwegian ship was fabulous but still prefer the bigger Bliss! No complaint on the Avoya service, as usual they provide excellent service. Mayra Taylor is the best travel coordinator!

Had a wonderful time on the Norwegian Spirit to Alaska. This being our first cruise, we had a super experience.

We were very happy with our cruise. We were dissatisfied with our travel agent. She took forever to get back to us with questions and we basically figured it out on our own. We booked nearly 20 rooms with her and many were less than impressed.

Norwegian has great employees and only so-so food. Holland had 5 star dining room food - Norwegian's was about a 2 - 3 star Mixed reviews on the shore excursions. For example the "Nature" bus ride from Seward to Anchorage airport only allowed a half hour to look around a Nature "camp" for a lot of wildlife...impossible to see even a tenth of this in that time.

Bus trip from Anchorage to Seward instead of train was fine. Beautiful scenery. Think the bus followed the same route as train. Loved the entertainment on board. Food was not as good as experienced on other cruises. Buffet was a big disappointment After 2 tries did not return. Staff very kind and attentive. Exception would be cruise director. Politically incorrect. Found cabin not as enjoyable as other balcony rooms with other cruise lines. Sheets never changed and bathroom had odor: room definitely not worth the price paid.

The Spirit is a great small ship and the 16 day Hawaii/ Alaska cruise we had the best weather you could ask for! We made every port this cruise, just wished we had longer time frame in Hilo- to be honest - all the Hawaiian ports! Icy Straight- 12 hours in port is way too long! Be aware of the time in all ports we left people behind in Hilo and in Ketchikan as they didn't make the sail deadline!!! You could tell that the pandemic was still effecting everything. Staffing shortages were very noticeable- meals took forever- 2 to 3 hours sometimes and then not even correct when served!

A very nice time but things are not quite back to pre Covid size and quality. Everyone on the ship was happy to be there, both workers and passengers.

The food was N HORRIBLE. AND our bill at the end was outrageous. We will never travel with Norwegian again. Our cruise was cut a day short, we were taken to the Sheraton in Rome where we waited 7 hours to get our room even though they knew for months this was happening. The service was horrible the whole experience was a nightmare.

An enjoyable family cruise holiday! However, their tender device and control of quayside queues waiting for tenders back to the ship need to be jacked up! Also the menus in the main dining rooms were uninspiring at times, particularly on January 1. Carpets in our stateroom was not clean and the positioning of bed lamps in the stateroom is not practical.

Fabulous ports, ship, and meeting people from all over the country.

Cabin and wait staff were great, but cruise director, shore excursion leader and especially the captain were horrible. Can understand why there were riots on the October cruise. Many issues, not just one. First, it was clear that we would not be able to go to Venice. It was well documented that Venice was closed due to historical flooding, yet the Captain sailed to Venice and then had to figure out an alternative at the last minute. Had they planned for it, we could have sailed into Ravenna which we had passed, the perhaps have been able to pick up the port we missed earlier in the cruise

Learned a lot. The shore excursions were great. Really liked the size of the ship.

We had a good time visiting ports but poor sound baffling in room. Very poor information about ports and poor customer service at info desk and shore excursion at times. Really think this ship needs to reboot it's customer service culture and communication with passengers. The general crew, sailors, room steward, restaurant crew were excellent and friendly. Why can't the ship personnel at desks be the same. Need to organize shore excursions better, have easier gangways, and better tender boats. By the way twice when we went back to ship for nap they ships crew was using a chipping hammer

The cruise overall was very good. The food was awesome! We loved our 'perks'. The staff was wonderful. The biggest drawback was some pretty scary winds and choppy waters for 2 days, plus we had to MISS a whole port of call (Valletta, Malta) which was very disappointing. However, I have been on NCL a few times, and look forward to future cruises with you also.
