We enjoyed our cruise without any problems. Warm and relaxing was our goal. Holland America met those goals and more!

It was fantastic

The cruise was nice. Food was not as good as I remember Holland having. We missed the land portion because my husband got sick with COVID.

Overall, it was a great cruise. HA amenities are perfect for what we want. We utilized the pickleball court everyday. The food was good. We always enjoy happy hour as we don't purchase the drink package. The entertainment was good though they had the same comedian four times during the 14-day cruise. My only negative comment is that I think HA service, especially in the Lido Market is slipping. It is difficult to get beverages and refills except for self serve.

Excellent weather. Scenery was spectacular. Bears, seals, otters, whales and eagles. Early morning pickleball with ample food supplies thereafter. A peaceful two weeks. Having been above the Arctic Circle, this was a new part of Alaska for us. We approve! Thank you.

Wonderful, so scenic, food and service were exceptional

The tours, the quality of service, the food was all we expected and more. This was a once in a lifetime trip and we are very happy with did it. The pictures we took don't really match what you actually see in these places. It was just incredible.

A little wet and cold but it was still great cruise Can’t beat the scenery

There were a lot of "little" things that added up. The buffet food was much better than their restaurants. The customer service for the most part was really good.

I was disappointed that we were unable to dock at a couple of ports, but I understand the reasons why we could not and I thank the Captain and headquarters for putting our safety first. Going through the Canal was fascinating and memorable!

We certainly enjoyed the Panama Canal, but the cruise was not the best we have been on. As soon as we booked the cruise, Holland America sent us an itinerary change. If we had seen the changes on the website, we probably would not have booked this cruise. Also due to weather conditions we missed a port, and changed a port due to unrest in one country. The company was good about finding a different port to visit. After our passage through the Panama Canal, we were to stop in one more port. However the ship was having some problems with the propellers so we had to continue on to Fort Lauderdale

The weather was disappointing. The rainy season has started a month early. Very hot and HUMID. The storms caused us to bypass a port of call, civil unrest caused us to miss the Guatemala stop, and engine troubles caused us to miss the stop in Columbia. There was no change in the activities on the ship, to try to entertain the passengers with all the extra sea days. .

This voyage was much needed. Beautiful scenery. Great service and food. Our travel planner Robin is the best! She made sure we had all the information we needed every step of the way the make this trip seamless. Thank you!

Our trip exceeded our expectation!

We enjoyed ourselves on this mid side ship to its fullest from a dining to The Lido deck All the entertainment and the cruise director herself was fantastic Will be back

Overall quality was down past 3 cruises. This one was even worse. Will not return to this ship until renovated and better staffed. Quality was off from normal 4 star level all around to a 2 star level. Our traveling friends and others met on board we’re all disappointed.

The cruise was nice but we booked it as a 2 week cruise and it was really 2 back to back cruises so there were duplications of the shows, enrichment programs and menu. There were also a lot of add ons, even in the speciality restaurants. The ship was older but clean. The price was right and overall the cruise met our expectations.

Nieuw Amsterdam is a great ship. The food and specialty restaurants rock. Service is excellent. The dance show is over the top!

The cruise line should have more space for sunbathing, and the lack of good nightly entertainment was a big disappointment when at sea.
