Another great cruise! I chose Avalon once again because of their professionalism, comfort and always joyful smiles. I would give my second experience another 5 stars. Everything from the service, food,excursions and wonderful atmosphere I find hard to beat. Getting ready to book another excursion with Avalon. This was my first river cruise, and I was thrilled with the trip. I added the optional extension that included one extra day in Amsterdam before the cruise, and three extra days afterward in Switzerland and Como, Italy. Avoya took care of all of the details and I was able to put all of my energy into experiencing Christmas in five countries. With only 154 other passengers, it was a personal and intimate ship experience.

The travel arrangements were perfect. Hotel in Amsterdam was great and the Rhine River cruise was more than what we expected.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Rhine River cruise. Time with our children and their partners, the excellent service on-board ship, wonderful excursions and knowledgeable guides, free time exploring castles, cathedrals, and towns.

Everything about my experience on the cruise was top notch. Room was great, food was enjoyable and the crew was so pleasant and anxious to please that I cannot think of one negative thought concerning my experience.

Also, tours were by very charming people but usually without much real background historical or current knowledge. Elementary observations. Tour groups were way too large.

The ship was immaculate, the service was state of the art, everyone was kind, helpful professional and welcoming like family. The food was spectacular The excursions and entertainment were excellent. Only complaint was poor internet connections.

It was an awesome trip, including perfect accommodations, service and sights!

The whole cruise was geared for the clients enjoyment. It exceeded my expectations. The staff ( from housekeeping to director) were organized- respectful- kind.

Everything was perfect. The ship, the cabin, the food and the entire staff. We couldn't have had a better trip.

This was our second Avalonwaterways river cruise. Our third is already reserved.

Just an incredible and magical trip. The food on the boat was seriously 5 Star, the service was over the top and we could not ask for anything more!

My husband and I took his parents on this cruise and it was the "trip of a lifetime" for them. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely plan more river cruises in the future.

The River Cruise surely deserves five stars! From the booking with our travel assistant to the crew on board and the guides in each city to the food was absolutely fantastic. All was wrapped up in the beauty of the countries we visited. Avalon is the way to travel and I will go again in the future!
