Wonderful hard working crew. Enjoyed the cities we visited and the many options in excursions. Food offered good selection and was overall ok. Chef’s Table is a must. Cocktails were lacking in that they were quite sweet like punch. Wine was good. Only one beer selection available.

Everything was wonderful on the cruise. We didn't want it to end. We were all well attended to by the very professional, helpful, and friendly staff. All the food and wine were excellent. My favorite was the "crown roast of lamb" night. Our cruise manager Peter was the best. AmaWaterways took care of every detail. It’s a great company. Highly recommend. Our next cruise will be with Ama.

The crew on the AmaViola were wonderful! Overall, a very enjoyable cruise. I did, however, find the stateroom a bit small. Also, I would have liked to have more of an opportunity to stay and shop the Christmas Markets for longer periods of time. The “free time” at the markets was 45 mins to an hour at best. An option to just be at the Markets would have been nice. But, again, an overall enjoyable trip.

Great time but need more time to shop at Xmas market

This was our second AmaWaterways cruise. This time, four friends joined us. They were impressed beyond what we had prepared them for - the quality of the overall experience onboard, the excursions, the wonderful care provided by the entire crew.

Cruise manager, staff, accommodations , food, excursions, ports all met and exceeded our expectations. Look forward to the next one!

Just finished up the Melodies of the Danube with pre cruise nights in Budapest and post cruise nights in Prague. 14 days. Amazing. AmaWaterways was like clockwork, there every step of the way. Food was delicious. Staff was fantastic! Excursions, on point!!! Just wonderful memories made!

So much to see and experience that we need to stay longer. The food was fantastic and the crew was so fine. The only glitch was that on the day we left the ship, we tested positive for Covid and had to stay in Budapest two days longer and couldn’t see our kids who flew down from Germany to see us . There were many folks on the ship who had cold like symptoms but weren’t asked to test. They wore masks but we still got it!!! So we were so glad to have made it to all the fantastic sites planned.

Had a wonderful trip

Prague is a beautiful city and quite walkable. AMA Waterways did a wonderful job planning stops and having a variety of excursions at varying levels. We had beautiful weather which was such a blessing. All our tour guides were wonderful as were the staff on the ship.

Because of the Covid-19 shutdown in Austria, our trip was redirected to the Rhine River. AMA Waterways did a masterful job handling the "pivot" of its guests to the AMAPrima ship from AMAViola (especially the cruise manager Natalija Fajdiga). I guess my only complaint would be the meals -- the chef seemed more concerned about the presentation of the meals than the taste of the food (some of the soups were bland) and the amount of food served (Thanksgiving dinner was more of an appetizer than a meal).

The scenery, experiences, company, entertainment, staff, food, and drinks were all amazing. This was the first cruise for my wife and I, but it will certainly not be our last. We will highly recommend AmaWaterways to our friends and family.

Perfect way to see an entire region. Relaxing but with amazing included excursions. Ready to book my next one!!
