It was a wonderful trip. The ship was beautifully decorated, staff was attentive and friendly. The individual tours guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend the trip to our friends.

This was my first trip on Amawaterways. It did not disappoint. The ship was great. Only 1/2 full so was easily upgraded to a suite. The service was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and make this a great trip. The food was mostly very good. Being a picky eater that doesn't care for specialty food and having to have a gluten free diet, there were sometimes I had to default to the daily hamburger. 7 days went by way to quickly. The crew was fantastic. I don't think we could have asked for a better time. Will look at Amawaterways again for our next trip to Europe. Thanks for a fun 7 days!

Overall, we had a lovely time. Learned a lot of history and saw towns and castles for the first time. The ship and crew were very accommodating. Our stay at the Toren in Amsterdam was the highlight. A great boutique hotel in a quiet and quaint part of Amsterdam. A predominance of rain did put a damper on some excursions and on-board activities. And making connections was a bit complicated on a couple occasions. Also, it became difficult to communicate with the travel insurer when we were in Basel and needed prescription medicine. The accommodations and food on the boat were fantastic and well-managed. The three star rating was the fact that we only sailed from Amersterdam to Cologne (overnight). Due to high water in the Rhine, we were bussed to Strasbourg where we remained in port surrounded by containers in the cargo port. Although the cruise director did a fabulous job of redirecting us to other activities, the busses were not of the quality of the boat, poor air-conditioning, no USB ports, no stopping for bathroom stops which made the travel uncomfortable and wearying. Although you couldn't control the locks and the weather, it was a wonderful experience. The pre-cruise in Lugano and Como was amazing. Special appreciation to Daniel, our cruise director at Lugano. When everything went bad with the traffic and the bus, Daniel was able to make everything work out. He went "above and beyond"!

AMA waterways hosted a wonderful riverboat cruise experience. The ship was beautiful and had every accommodation needed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Couldn’t have had a better time.

The Amamora was an awesome ship. The tours were well coordinated and the staff were excellent. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise.

The trip was so very well organized! One of the best experiences we’ve had.

Our room was totally unacceptable because of noise while we were sailing at night. The creaking and vibration noise made it impossible to sleep. Our neighbors across the hall in room 223 had the same issue and also complained.

We greatly enjoyed our cruise including the time in Lake Como then on the Rhine River through Switzerland, Germany, France and The Netherlands. Perfect way to see all the castles and visit some neat towns along the river. Great trip!

First riverboat cruise and it lived up to our expectations. Cruise direct was great and entire staff were friendly & efficient. Would definately book AMA again.

The excursions were great! Especially the last day to Keukenhof Gardens and the canal cruise. Other small town excursions were very good also. Ghent was the exception, not very good. Not so good: Need more drawer storage (maybe where you had desk area?? The decor/furniture in main lounge was tacky and not well thought out. Toilet paper holder location was ridiculous.
