Casual resort wear will be appropriate at any time. After 6:00 p.m., jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and bare feet will not be permitted in the ships’ public areas. A cocktail dress for women, and a suit or coat and tie for men, will be appropriate on formal evenings. MSC Cruises hosts 1 formal evening on 4 to 6-night cruises; 2 on 7 to 11-night cruises; and 4 on cruises 15 nights or longer.

For guests interested in toning, stretching, or shaping their bodies, the fitness center onboard the MSC Splendida will have experienced instructors eager to assist, available work-out space, and every piece of exercise equipment necessary to keep up with a daily program or start a brand-new regimen.

With interactive Formula 1 race simulators and engaging, cutting-edge cinemas, entertainment onboard the MSC Splendida will present unforgettable innovative options and will reserve a selection of classic attractions as well. During the day, passengers will be able to enjoy four different swimming pools, several soothing whirlpools, cafés, and more, and in the evening, they can be part of the exciting nightlife at various inviting lounges and venues.

MSC Cruises strives to make sure you receive the highest level of personal service and in order to make it convenient for you to reward the excellent service you receive, customary gratuities will be added to your onboard account. Per person / per day gratuities for adults are $12 (USD) for Caribbean sailings and ocean voyages; €6 (Euro) for Mediterranean and Northern European sailings; and $5 (USD) for South America sailings. Per person / per day gratuities for children are 50% less than adults. Your maitre d’, assistants to the maitre d’, waiter, busboys, buffet staff, cabin attendant, room service, and bellboys will share this gratuity (casino dealers and spa personnel do not share in this charge since not all guests utilize these services). Gratuities are not mandatory and are at your discretion. At any time during your cruise if you wish to make adjustments to the amount you’re tipping you may do so by contacting the Guest Reception Desk.
