Casual resort wear is appropriate at any time. After 6:00 p.m., jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and bare feet are not permitted in the ships’ public areas.

A cocktail dress for women, and a suit or coat and tie for men are appropriate on formal evenings. MSC Cruises hosts 1 formal evening on 4 to 6-night cruises; 2 on 7 to 11-night cruises; and 4 on cruises 15 nights or longer.

The MSC Poesia offers a jogging track, saunas, steam rooms, aerobic and yoga classes, a gymnasium, Jacuzzis, and swimming pools for you to work out or relax in.

Catch a show at the theater, dance the night away at the discothèque, chat with friends in the Cigar Room, relax at the Wine Tasting Bar, try your luck at the casino, practice your putting at the miniature golf course, or e-mail friends and family at the Internet Café. Whatever your mood, you’re sure to find a fun and perfect way to spend your time while aboard the MSC Poesia!

MSC Cruises strives to make sure you receive the highest level of personal service and in order to make it convenient for you to reward the excellent service you receive, customary gratuities are added to your onboard account.

Per person / per day gratuities for adults are $12 (USD) for Caribbean sailings and ocean voyages; €6 (Euro) for Mediterranean and Northern European sailings; and $5 (USD) for South America sailings. Per person / per day gratuities for children are 50% less than adults. Your maitre d’, assistants to the maitre d’, waiter, busboys, buffet staff, cabin attendant, room service, and bellboys will share this gratuity (casino dealers and spa personnel do not share in this charge since not all guests utilize these services).

Gratuities are not mandatory and are at your discretion. At any time during your cruise if you wish to make adjustments to the amount you’re tipping you may do so by contacting the Guest Reception Desk.

Also to help make things convenient for you, the gratuity for drinks is included in the price of all bar checks.

Enjoy the rejuvenating bliss of a professional massage in the company of soothing flower petals and warm lighting, or align yourself while meditating restfully atop a small teak bed overlooking the vast sea in the MSC Poesia’s relaxing spa. Guests can also enjoy beauty treatments, waxing, sports therapy, and more.

From an early morning breakfast to a midnight buffet, several dining options are available for you while you’re sailing the seas aboard an MSC cruise. You can choose options such as having a continental breakfast delivered to the privacy of your cabin, enjoying a casual outdoor lunch by the pool from the grill or pizzeria, or partaking in a more Asian-infused meal at the Chinese Restaurant.

Main Dining
Dinner in the main dining room is always an exciting occasion onboard the MSC Poesia, after all, the Italian meal is a culinary experience not to be missed! Traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist is offered during MSC’s renowned 7-course dinner menu. MSC’s dining staff and chefs are highly trained and they prepare and serve regional specialties and traditional favorites made from scratch, which are derived from authentic Mediterranean recipes.

At the MSC Poesia’s casino, try your hand at Roulette, the popular European “Trente et Quarante”, Blackjack, Poker, Slot Machines, and many more games.

MSC Cruises offers the Mini Club for its younger guests, which is a great place for kids up to 10-years-old to have loads of fun! The Mini Club staff organizes activities, shows, and games, such as arts and crafts, baby-dance, painting courses, treasure hunts, and mini-Olympics. Children under 3 are only permitted when accompanied by an adult who must remain with the child at all times.

In addition to the Mini Club, a lively Junior Club for 9 to 12-year-olds is offered, as well as a Teenager Club, which is a great place for teens of all ages to hang out.

As on all MSC ships, kids under 11 will sail for free on every MSC Poesia sailing and will have countless options for enjoyment and entertainment onboard.
