We recently booked a 7 night river cruise and 6 night extension (2 nights in Amsterdam, 2 nights in Lake Lucerne, 2 nights in Zurich).
In Amsterdam although the hotel was nice, the bed was terribly hard and our room had giant spotlights that illuminate the building right under our windows so you couldn't make the room dark even with blackout shades.
The ship was great, top notch however the food was not very good, 3 star at best. The bed was hard as a rock and we had to request padding to make it sleep worthy. When we booked, we selected the middle floor as we didn't see the point in upg

The service, personnel and food were exceptional.
There were lots of options for the day tours and everything ran exactly on schedule.
It was an amazing trip and we hope to do another cruise with AMA in the future.

Our first AmaWaterways cruise, but it won’t be our last. Everything was top notch from a representative meeting us at the airport in Zürich to meeting us at the airport in Amsterdam. The included tours and local tour guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. AmaSiena was beautiful and the crew we dealt with was accommodating and hardworking. Our vacation was truly amazing!
