Crowds clear out during the off-season, leaving the cobblestoned streets to be strolled and lots of restaurants and coffee shops to warm up and get cozy in. 3. Florence, Italy
Fall means white truffle season in Italy. From October to December, the widely sought-after (and extremely expensive) white truffle season begins in the Tuscan region of Italy.
