You can find temperatures at a consistent eighty degrees; however, May and June offer great weather and is the perfect time to visit in between peak season and hurricane season.

    In the months of December through April, you can find some of the Caribbean’s hottest festivals, including Carnival. Prepare to experience the best of Kittitian culture with beats of Soca and Calypso music.

    July through November also offers fewer crowds, however, this is usually the time period when hurricanes come through the Caribbean. It’s also important to know that some attractions and restaurants may be closed during these months as native Kittitians and Nevisians take their holidays during this time.

    Take A Swing at the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club

    Whether you’re a professional golfer or just enjoy the sport, it’s a must to make a visit to the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club. This 125-acre club offers two full holes with views of the Caribbean Sea and three complete holes with panoramic viewpoints of the Atlantic Ocean. Also, you can’t help but catch endless amounts of coconut palm trees.

    • Warner Park Cricket Stadium â€“ Found in the Warner Park Sporting Complex, this stadium was once home of the 2007 Cricket World Cup and is now the home of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

    • Romney Manor â€“ Here you can shop for an authentic Caribbean Batik that is made by locals, enjoy a drink at the Rainforest Bar, or experience both. It’s highly recommended to try the Jefferson, the bar’s signature drink that may be the best rum punch you’ve ever tasted.

    Day Trip to Charlestown, Dieppe Bay Town, or Sandy Point Town

    Just two miles away, the island of Nevis (St Kitts sister island) provides the city of Charlestown which features two of the most beautiful beaches: Oualie Beach and Pinney’s Beach. Oualie Beach is about six miles away from Charlestown and is well-known for its spectacular snorkeling. Pinney’s Beach features white sand and peaceful water. This beach looks like the one from an office calendar!

    Dieppe Bay Town is easy for a quick day trip and is only 32 minutes away from Basseterre. This city features a bay where the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet, and you can witness waves from both bodies of water crashing against each other and take a walk on the black sand.
