I have been a life long learner of things different than what I have. I joined the Navy to see the world and learned quickly that I was good at teaching and coaching. I finished college and started to teach and coach. But then realized travel took a backseat to camps, seasons, off season training and pure exhaustion. So as I am reaching the end of my teaching career I realized I have spent a lifetime asking people to do things they don't really want to do. Now I want to spend my second half helping people do the things they love to do.

My favorite travel moments have come when I have been lost or not actually sure where I am headed to next. Spontaneous moments while on vacation or in a foreign (to me) place are my favorite. Sometimes the wind blows me in the best places. Adventurous opportunities have arisen every time I let things happen organically. But the other side of me, like the side that loves to visit Disney, needs somethings planned out and organized to maximize every minute. My family and I love to relax on vacation and go with the flow, then we also have 1 or 2 trips every year that we go to learn about the area we are in, the culture, it's people, and mostly it's food.
