I have always loved to travel. It is such a joy getting out and seeing, touching and tasting the vibrant and appealing differences of this wonderful world that we live in has to offer. My adventures have taken me to "Las Ramblas" in Barcelona, the mountains of the Pirenos, the Monostados de Nuria and Monserrat. I was thrilled to walk on the cobble stone roads in Toledo and visiting the ancient burial places of El Escorial in central Spain. Central America was an absolute delight, walking through the streets of Mexico, sampling authentic Mexican tacos and savouring the pulsating night life. The Caribbean holds its own charms, such as the little known treat of the therapeutic waters of Fire Water in Jamaica, watching the flames burn while I am submerged below them. Hiking the trails up the Blue Mountains and sipping real home made Blue Mountain Coffee at 500 ft above sea level! The vast continent of North America offers so many thrills that it will take an entire lifetime to discover. From the mystic of the Niagara Falls, picking apples and grapes on the numerous farms in Ontario. The wonder of the leaves changing colours in Fall as the crisp wind lovingly kiss your cheeks makes this season absolutely fabulous! The view from the Empire State Building remains one of my all time favourites as I listened to Tony recounting the history of the building up of New York City and the journey of so many immigrants from Italy to the New World. There is still so much world waiting for me to explore...join me...lets see it together.
